Gling Hunt

Gling Hunt is a Brisbane based musician that has been in the industry for over 20 years. He is an engaging performer, whether it be while he's playing an acoustic solo song or fronting a full on party band. With years of experience in the industry performing at events from large festivals to weddings to small restaurant gigs, he will be able to read the vibe of your event with ease. He was chosen to play the role of Sting at several sold-out show with the Music of the Blue Turtles.

During lockdown, he took up film scoring and had the opportunity to be a part of the composing team for 2 full length feature documentaries - "Alick and Albert" which was an official selection at Cannes Film Festival, Brisbane International Film Festival, St Tropez Film Festival. His 2nd composing credit was for "Incarceration Nation" a logie nominated documentary which was also selected as part of the Sydney Film Festival, a finalist in the Walkley Awards and the Winner of Best Documentary at The ASIN awards.

Gling is looking to focus on developing his original music for performance and release as well as film production, focusing on developing his own short films in the coming years.
